Well, besides church consultants (not touching that one yet), there is this business of penniless and poor seminarians research groups who will do the pastor’s dirty work for her. Of course businesses like this one or that one aren’t illegal or unethical, but a church, no matter what size, should have a preaching leader who knows all of the content of her sermon.
Furthermore, I wonder what happened to trusting the Spirit to deliver the Word of God.

So the Holy Spirit couldn’t be involved in the research groups? And there’s no way God could actually call and anoint certain people to provide this kind of anonymous and thankless service to the body? I don’t know, perhaps people who aren’t gifted in public speaking, but are deeply spiritual people who do hear from God, like I dunno Moses providing sermon direction for Aaron?

Yah, I am sure Moses used up as many excuses as megachurch pastors do today….. oh wait…………..
