Thoughts on Tonight’s GOP Debate #EconDebate

Tonight’s debate was like a college football game. Mitt Romney and Jon Huntsman were safely in their home arena. Neither challenged one another because frankly, they are clones of the young John McCain from the year 2000 C.E. I must say I have become quite frustrated with Rick Perry as THE anti-Romney candidate. He can raise the money, but Perry is a horrible debater. It just does not look good.

Romney of course won, he has no real challenger. The entire debate felt like he was running a general election campaign already, and he was just asking questions of the other candidates, particularly Michele Bachmann, so he could get a glimpse at potential Vice Presidents. Nothing personal against Mitt Romney supporters, but I just disagree with him policy-wise. I also have a headache because of Herman Cain. He didn’t get to bring up Chilean models. Why no Chilean models, Herman?

Here’s to Bachmann making a comeback!
