When I first saw this news on Twitter, I was jumping up and down like a kindergarterner. Joy and Adulation. They finally released the names of the villains for the Dark Knight Rising film: Catwoman & Bane.

TOM HARDY WILL PLAY BANE

ANNE HATHAWAY WILL PLAY SELINA KYLE/CATWOMAN

    Let’s hope they get Bane right this time.

  2. Nolan has captured Batman better than anyone else ever has on film, and with his record and high standards I suspect this next one will be just as good if not better. He is not afraid to take bold steps if it means making the film closer to Frank Millers depecition of the Batman.

    I don’t find Anne Hathaway very compelling as an actress. I know this sounds weird, but I think Leighton Meester (yes from the CW, but now venturing into films) would have been a good choice…

      or Mila Kunis, who played opposite Natalie Portman in “The Black Swan.”

      Ironically, neither of the actresses were on Nolan’s shortlist, yet Natalie Portman, and Meester’s co-star, Blake Lively were!
