Kentucky’s New State Church: Now Noah’s Ark

AHHHH. MY OLD KENTUCKY HOME.

First came the “Creation Museum” in Petersburg.  Now, there is going to be a rebuilding of Noah’s Ark in the hopes of capitalizing off of “Christian tourism.” Lovely.  The funny thing? Well, it was the “progressive” Democratic governor, Steve Beshear who proposed tax breaks in an obvious attempt to blur the line between church and state.  Another day, another DINO! Get it? DINO? Creation Museum? Noah’s Ark?

For my two cents, it is not the government’s job to create jobs but to foster a friendly environment for small business owners and employees.  And the government (state and federal) should get its hands out of churches’ coffers. Exchanges of money through tax breaks or direct funding is creating a state church.

P.S. DINO stands for Democrat in name only.
