God of Promises,
We thank You, Lord, for rescuing your people out of Egypt, and for freeing us from our sins through the Crucifixion and Resurrection of your Son, Jesus Christ. Thank you for being faithful, Oh God, and we pray that during this season of Lent, you will persuade us to repent for our sins now, and for the rest of our days. It is in Jesus’s name that we pray.
