Welcome to Political Spirituality!

I, Rod of Political Jesus, have decided to maintain this site for the use of posting personal reflections, litanies, essays, prayers, and thoughts on Scripture in an effort to connect academic ministry to ecclesial ministry. Taking a cue from my Christian upbringing as well as my interest in the works of John Howard Yoder, James Hal Cone, Gustavo Gutierrez, Leonardo Boff, Stanley Hauerwas, as well as other clouds of witnesses who give to the Church Universal post-colonial, liberationist, and Womanist theological and ethical modes of doing and being, I hope to provide resources for those interested in engaging the Church and World.  In addition, I plan on posting my children’s messages on Sundays as well as the lessons from Wednesday night FLY time (the Father, The LORD, and You) which are also geared towards children.

For God sends us into the world, just as God sent God’s Son into the world, to show God’s love with all of creation.
